Bolor toolbar for Firefox updated [2009/07/27 13:16:32]
Bolor toolbar for Firefox is updated. You can use it now on latest version of Firefox 3.5 web browser. If you used to use this toolbar, you have to need to clear your browser cache before you install the Bolortoolbar 1.0.1.
Mongolian Virtual Keyboard implemented [2009/05/17 20:13:22]
Bolor dictionary recognizes the direction automatically. If a latin entry is typed in search box then english to mongolian, if a cyrillic entry typed, then mongolian to english direction is selected. So you have to input your entry in cyrillic if you want to search mongolian words.
We are happy to announce that we implemented Mongolian Virtual Keyboard which is useful for everyone who diesn't have mongolian keyboard driver. It has been requested several times. You can find the keyboard indicator (MVK on/off) on the upper right corner of our web page. (Just front of the site language switcher)

About 2000 entries included [2009/04/30 10:31:38]
Today, Bolor dictionary has about 2000 entries received. It is not really big update for our database, but still a lot of special words have been translated.
Improved database structure [2009/04/22 13:39:35]
Today, we have improved database structure of the Bolor dictionary, as we have planned. This extension may help us mainly to choose right translation and the search is optimized through refined word field of the word database. Our current database contains a lot of suboptimal translations which consists of one or more sentences. With help of this improvement, we have started to replace the rough translations by word for word tranlations and the description of the necessary words can be stored in extended database field. The descriptions are displayed after every word in a small font. For instance: You can see here the result of the word "татгалзах". We have now the feasibility to describe all words in every language. The Bolor dictionary can act as a thesaurus starting from now.

Improved fast search method for Bolor dictionary [2009/01/26 23:49:35]
We've improved our search method dramatically. The search speed increased now over 15% . The best thing is that the search results are sorted by relevance. Now, you can find your words and phrases faster and straight. Some technical bugs are fixed.
In addition, we have added approximately 150 words or phrases and corrected hundreds of terms.
Bolor dictionary 1.0 released! [2009/01/01 16:54:13]
Online version of Bolor dictionary is now ready to use freely. Currently, this dictionary works only in the direction of the English to Mongolian and Mongolian to English. We will constantly improve it and provide other language directions.
The total entries of the Bolor dictionary reached currently 440 372 , it is now largest Mongolian English and English Mongolian dictionary. In the future, we will add mongolian and english sounds and better grammatical classifications for english and mongolian words. You may post a query in our Forum to find out unknown words.
